Louis Vuitton Artsy MM Monogram Bag

A beautifully big, simple trapezoid-shaped hobo with a pretty braid detailed handle, this one has been used and loved but has lots of joy yet to give.

Details -
Well shaped with acres of room inside, it will stand up empty and the canvas is excellent throughout. A nice thick example from 2009, there is no rubbing, splitting, cracking, or wear. Corners are excellent with just rubs to the motifs at the curves and there are a few minor creases to the side panels from storage.

The vachette calfskin is darkened and dry to the hanging charm and the metalware displays dulling and scratches to the Keyring and clip. There is paling (revealing the underneath silvery tone) around the inner circumference of the circular key ring, from friction. No tarnish, oxidization, or flaking of finish.

Scratching and paling to the base feet, the circular, embossed eyelets are dulled from contact friction, again no tarnish, oxidization, or loss of finish.

The shoulder strap is nicely firm but with extensive darkening to the underside and numerous small marks from use. Red (edging) to the plait feature is all in place but the reason for the * rating is due to the lost stitch to the RH side of the handle, (see gallery above showing LH side one present and RH one missing). This does not seem to affect the use of the bag in any way and all aspects are currently holding firm.

Fully lined in beautifully clean, soft clean beige Alcantara with 6 slip pockets and a zipped section. A couple of very small, vague marks to the lining on the LH side of the base and a smudge to the inner wall of the rear, middle, slip pocket.
